Physiotherapy in Hertfordshire
Your initial physiotherapy assessment
The start of your journey with AJ Physio.
Required for all new patients and/or new onset pain/injury, this is a highly detailed and thorough physiotherapy consultation to get to know you, the injury and create a plan together to achieve your goals.
We’ll use our hands to manage your pain where we can, combined with any necessary modifications to your day-to-day routine.
Finally, your therapist will guide you through a bespoke exercise programme in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation suite.
You’ll be sent on your way to recovery with a summary of your management plan, delivered in the most suitable format for you!
Treatment for Musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions, including:
Joint pain (including hip and knee pain).

Your follow-up consultation
Continue your recovery with us following your initial assessment. Sessions will include a review of relevant markers and tests to monitor your progress. We use industry-leading equipment and technology to show you the cold hard facts about how you are going, highlighting our core value of Trust. You’ll make a joint decision with your therapist on what treatment is most appropriate and beneficial during each consultation to move closer to your end goal.
Please do not book unless you have already been assessed for this injury. If it’s been a while since we last saw you (6+ weeks) you will require another Initial Assessment. We want to provide the most effective care and this appointment might not be the right route for you.
