Adam Stanley
Co-Founder
Adam has a wealth of experience in private practice since graduating from the University of Hertfordshire in 2016. He has worked in general practice clinics, specialist sports injury settings and professional football and rugby. His stand out achievements include helping his hometown side AFC Bournemouth gain promotion to the Premier League in 2015 and working with olympic and paralympic athletes in Cambridge.
In his last role, Adam progressed from an undergraduate student during his Sports Therapy Degree to clinical director at a well established Physiotherapy clinic, gaining invaluable experience in the day-to-day running of a private practice and managing a full time case load. He particularly enjoys care in the elderly patients, rheumatology/auto-immune recognition and tricky tendon injuries!
Both Adam and Jordan are part of the Sports and Exercise Therapy teaching cohort at the University of Hertfordshire. Supervising the student ran clinic, delivering lectures and moderating examinations. A role they are both extremely proud of as UH Alumni.
Adam is available at our locations in Wheathampstead and Harpenden alongside virtual consultations and home visits.

Jordan Harris
Co-Founder
Jordan graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2016 as a Sports Therapist and later completed his MSc in Physiotherapy at St Mary's University in 2022. He has a wealth of experience in elite professional mens and women’s rugby union. Completing his undergraduate internship at Canberra Brumbies in Australia, working with England Women and Loughborough University men's teams.
Jordan has vast experience in private practice along his sports based roles whilst gaining invaluable experience in outpatient and community settings. He has management experience as Head of Medical In his most recent role at Loughborough and ongoing role at Old Albanians RFC. Jordan will be working for the Fijian Mens Senior Rugby Union team as Head Physio during their 2024 Pacific Cup of Nations Tour and Great Britain Autumn Internationals.

Zoe Burrows-Smith
Graduate Sports Therapist
Zoe graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2022 with a BSc Hons in Sports therapy. Whilst studying, she volunteered with her local football club, Hadley FC, and completed her final placement with Old Albanians RFC where she has progressed to Lead Therapist, working alongside Head Of Medical; Jordan. Zoe has experience working in an administrative role in a local private hospital and has taken a leap of faith to join the AJP clinical team. Zoe is available at our locations in Wheathampstead and Harpenden as well as virtual consultatiations.

Katelyn Martin
Graduate Sports Therapist
Katelyn graduated from the University of Hertfordshire in 2024 with a BSc Hons in Sports & Exercise Therapy. During Katelyn’s study she successfully completed a placement year with Saracens Rugby. Katelyn has also volunteered with the UH basketball team and worked closely with AJP during her studies. Katelyn will be working within AJP’s Sport and Exercise contract team as well as building her clinical caseload to service he AJP community. Katelyn is available at our Headquarters in Wheathampstead.

Lois Tappenden
Undergraduate Sports Therapist
Lois is currently studying her undergraduate degree at Coventry University and will graduate in the summer of 2026 with a classification in Sports and Exercise Therapy.
Lois has taken the initiative and bold choice to defer her final year of studying to complete a voluntary year of placement to gain experience in various sectors.
Already she has worked at Hinckley Rugby FC and volunteered for the Milton Keynes marathon. Lois’ placement year will be spent covering the Old Albanians men’s and women’s team’s and well as hours shadowing the AJP team at our HQ in Wheathampstead.
